Storms are as unpredictable as they are devastating.

Even with today's technology and years of knowledge that has been compiled to make storm prediction more accurate, storms are still highly unpredictable.  Any storm damage is devastating to the homes and businesses that suffer from the extreme weather conditions, but when your home is already in the throws of remodel, it can complicate matters even more.  The before photo is of a Florida home on the east coast affected by hurricane Matthew.  The homeowners had begun remodeling the bottom floor, and just as they had scheduled pending inspections hurricane Matthew hit.  As seen in the after photo, SERVPRO of Alachua County West swooped in as part of a storm team and dried out existing materials and cleaned and disinfected what the storm water had left behind.
