Not all water damage is the same

Not all water damage can be mitigated in the same way.  The source of the water, as well as the amount of time it has had to soak into materials can affect how your water damage will be treated by our technicians.  Highly contaminated water, know as black water or category 3 water can mean in many cases that porous building materials such as drywall may have to be removed and replaced instead of just using drying equipment to dry existing building materials.  The before photo is a septic overflow that was not discovered until the next day.  The affected porous drywall had to be removed.  The after photo is after SERVPRO of Alachua County West's technicians had dried and replaced damaged drywall to make it "Like it never even happened."
